The Gold Coast Acoustic Festival showcases the cream of international folk, bluegrass, Celtic, roots and Cajun music over 2 days of non-stop live music, open mic events and workshops from accomplished musicians each September.
Highlights to look forward to this year include live performances and workshops from folk fiddler Hanneke Cassel and the acclaimed George Jackson, chilled out Celtic harmonies from Queensland four piece Sunas and energetic bluegrass band The Company.
The event is non-ticketed, completely free to attend and features something to excite and inspire everyone, from energetic funk and blues to chilled out jazz vibes. Whether you’re an aspiring songwriter or just love live music, catch the festival at the scenic Southport Parklands, just a short drive from Carrington Court Main Beach accommodation apartments from 22-23 September.
