Currumbin Wildlife Park is located at the southern end of the Gold Coast. In all, there are more than
27 hectares of landscaped and natural bushland within the sanctuary. You can take the miniature steam train
around the park to view the many and varied attractions. A favourite with young and old alike is hand feeding the wallabies in their large
enclosure. Another very popular activity is cuddling a koala and having your photo taken as a memento of the occasion. You can also
learn a lot about Australian snakes at the snake show, tour the various animal and bird enclosures, and view the crocodiles in their habitat environment.
Lorikeet feeding happens every morning and afternoon and visitors are free to take part. Also, you can learn about aboriginal culture through tradition tribal song and
dance presentations.
Fleay's Fauna Reserve at Burleigh is also one of the Gold Coast's main wildlife parks. From the wooden tree-top walkways, tour the park and view
koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, crocodiles, brolgas, owls and much much more. Another fabulous feature of Fleay's is the nocturnal house, where you can
view some of our unique Australian wildlife including dunnarts, quolls, and the endangered bilby.
