The Pan Pacific Masters Games 3-11 November

Now that everyone is in Olympic spirit, it’s time to start getting excited about Queensland’s own major multi-sport event: the fantastic Pan Pacific Masters Games, which will take place from 3-11 of November this year.

The event is held every two years and is a celebration of master’s sport with 41 featured sports and a unique mix of fierce and friendly competition. It is estimated that around 11, 000 competitors from the local area, interstate and all over the world will come together on the Gold Coast to take part in the games which are fast becoming one of the most iconic sporting events in Australia.

The Pan Pacs, as they are affectionately nicknamed, are a mature age event open to anyone aged 30 or over. As always there is a jam packed program of team sports and individual disciplines to look forward to this year, including baseball, touch football, swimming, archery and tennis.

Away from the pitch, track and pool, the Games will feature a busy line-up of entertainment at the Official Games Village in the Gold Coast Convention Centre, not far from Carrington Court Main Beach accommodation apartments.

It’s the ideal excuse for a Gold Coast getaway in November!
